Located in Negara the local market is running by 7am oposite the main Police Station (map provided). Local fruit and vegetables, meat and an assortment of vendors selling food to clothing

DAY TOURS

There is a lot to see if you know where you are going so why not use one of our local drivers, whether it be Mosques,Temples, Mountains or Rivers he will get you there . Stop at a Warung for lunch and remember the camera.

BREATHTAKING VIEWS

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder but there are many picturesque locations to view or photograph. The local people are extremely friendly although English is not widely spoken, but you will cope.

BUFFALO RACING

Not a sport for the faint hearted by any means. Buffalo's were the traditional animals for rice cultivation, now with mechanical means in place the Buffalo has been retained by some people purely for sport.

STUNNING TWILIGHT

We are a long way from a major city. The sky at night is a thing to behold. Unfortunately not much other than clouds in the rainy season, but you get that.

POOLSIDE BBQ

Weather permitting, "remember we are in the tropics", an evening BBQ can be arranged with a choice of meat, fish or poultry. Sausages are made in-house, spicy or sane. Accompanied by a choice of local vegetables many from our own gardens.

WARUNG JEGEG BAGUS

Walking distance, weather permitting, Warung Jegeg offers a range of Indonesian food, chicken, vegetarian and seafood dishes in a village style setting. Try a Cocktail with the local Campung Chicken. Karaoke after the cocktails?

WARUNGS and More WARUNGS

A variety of food is available throughout Baluk Rening and Negara. Roasted corn at the beach, Satay from a street vendor or KFC. Its there go try.

ITS NOT ALL BEER AND SKITTLES

Baluk is one of the lesser visited locations in Bali. English is rarely spoken, road rules belong to Rafferty, and street signs, like traffic lights are there for decoration. The level of hygiene, as can be expected, is not high, hence the locals order their food well done. The area is Hindu / Muslim so please respect their religion and frequent ceremonies. Water unless bottled and sealed is unsafe to drink. Some of the bugs bite or sting. The sun is hot and dehydration is a possibility. Please do not approach the local wildlife including the many dogs as rabies exists in Bali. It's an Adventure, with some, "I stress the some", home comforts. Should you choose to visit we can only do our best to look after you. Please ensure you have appropriate travel insurance, clothing and a sense of adventure as we are not responsible for things that could go wrong on or outside the property. It's Indonesia remember........
